INNER ATLAS ( 2017 - 2020 )

Inner Atlas is an exploration of the fundamental connection between man and the natural world. Through the lens of the sea, sunlight, and water, the project highlights essential elements that sustain man’s experience on earth.

The work offers a homage to the concept of the mythical fountain of youth, symbolising the regenerative power of nature and its impact on human well-being. By experimenting on the edge of the metaphysical bond between humans and the environment, Inner Atlas encourages us to reflect on the importance of our relationship with the natural world and the role it plays in our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

The photographs recognise the deep-seated rhythms of the sea as a metaphor for the ebb and flow of human existence, inviting us to connect with the restorative powers of nature and as a gentle signal to find balance within ourselves.
